
The Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, is one of Sri Lanka’s most impressive and well-preserved ancient temples. This UNESCO World Heritage site consists of five caves filled with beautiful Buddhist murals and more than 150 statues of the Buddha, along with statues of kings and gods. Located on a large rock overlooking the surrounding countryside, the temple offers stunning views and provides a deep insight into Sri Lanka’s religious and cultural history.
